Explore the medical repair of broken bones! Authentic x-ray images show the hardware (plates, screws, nails, pins and wires) used to fix a broken bone. Fourteen additional images of the fractures, printed on card-stock, correspond to the x-rays of the repairs so students can get an authentic inside view. Place the images onto a light source, such as Roylco’s Educational Light Cube to see the details, just like in a doctor’s office. Great for young learners as well as STEM and Secondary Education Science.
Special thanks to the orthopedic surgeon who donated his time to help us produce these!
Features: 14 x-rays, 14 broken bone images on cardstock and guide.
